Sarah is originally from Louisville, KY and moved to North Carolina to attend Elon University where she first met Laura Knutson McDermott. After graduation, she moved to Charlotte where she met her husband, Eric, through the McDermott's. Sarah and Eric have boy/girl twins, Will and Barrett. Sarah has worked in finance, health care and early childhood education. She has also served as a Guardian ad Litum at the Council for Children's Rights, a Youth Advisor at First Presbyterian Church and has served on the Church's board of the Weekday School. Currently, Sarah is a part-time faculty member at Charlotte Latin School and member of the Parent's Council. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing tennis and most recently Mahjong. She is a lifelong University of Kentucky Wildcat's fan, a connection she shared with Bryant where his maternal grandfather played football.
